Quick Gun Murugan

Heyloz...yes the faymus south indian sooperstarr is now in a muvee....by the same name and guess who is making a comeback in the movie...Thunder Thighs Rambhaa...K and CG-6 will defi watch this movie...it releases this fri and maybe we will catch a show soon....btw people from 'in-law' land are very upset....their biggest counter is that has anyone from south made fun of how ridiculous mithun da and his movies are ;-)....touche saar....but sometimes I feel, getting upset is more of a publicity stunt than real feelings...like the times Darjeeling burned 'coz RJ Nitin called the Indian Idol a gurkha or how the Puri Trust is upset over 'Apna Haath Jagannaath' in Kaminey...I mean I agree there is a fine line b/w insult and humor but people seem to deleting the line deliberately for publicity.

Work toh is as usual....feeling much better now...but vid is not well now...once she is better she will share her story

Minks sent a wonderful article from WSJ yesterday....on how FB can ruining our real world relationships....I am sure all of us feel the same about a lot of people in our real lives....here is the link http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204660604574370450465849142.html#articleTabs%3Darticle

I know that social networking is supp to bring us closer etc...but I think where we go wrong is we mix personal, professional, social, family ethg on these sites...I mean once you add someone from work then cribbing about long working hours is not an option...once u add your cuz then a pic of you drinking cannot be put up and so on...I know there are times when I want my real friends to know that I had the most amazing chaat....but then sms is a much better medium I guess...and for the NRI's, I have this blog ;-)

This saturday toh is the first killer match of the EPL season...Arsenal vs Man U...the telecast timing, laziness and our age will ensure that we dont watch this match together...but irrespective, I hope it is a cracker....CG-6 ki team toh is already performing as per expectation....

I am reading 'In Spite of Gods' by Edward Luce these days...he was the earlier Financial Times correspondent for India...married to an Indian who works for the WB...the book was written in '06 and like most expat accounts, tries to expose the real India....read corrupt, casteist, under developed, illiterate etc etc...In case any of you are reading sthg, please recommend....like the ladies recommend TV shows ;-)

Back to work again guys....take care
